I have not heard the speakers in question. But I have a pair of Altec Valencias in a small room. I would gladely take six pairs and stack the whole wall.
There is no such thing as too big speakers as far as I'm concerned.
Small speakers tend to have another problem. The Valencias you have placed up against the wall. Small speaks often need to be placed at a distance from the wall. So they actually make the room smaller.
