Hi, All.
I was just wondering if anyone might happen to know if the remote for the RT-10 is unique to it, or if it's just a rebadged remote by the manufacturer of the player the RT-10 is based on (not sure which player myself, beyond the fact that it's Pioneer-Marantz).
I've been given an RT-10 by a friend, but remoteless, and powering it up just gets me as far as the power LED glowing orange, but no other action. Pressing buttons on the fascia also fails to wake the player from standby. Bit frustrating really, as I'm hoping the player works (it's been unused for a number of years) and I'm looking forward to getting it into my system :-)

I think it is a Pioneer under the skin.
Odd- jon
the player should work and play discs w/o the remote. Find out from Harman Group (owns Lexicon now) where you can get the player serviced. The same consult could help you in obtaining a RT-10 remote as well.
This i a great player. Keep me posted.
Thanks for the replies, guys.
I had wondered if the player should come out of standby without a remote. Oh well, I'll give Harman a call and see what they say. Fingers crossed :-)
Cheers, Jon.
Keep us posted -Jon
