Ya, the new site did away with all the user reviews from the original site, further alienating most of what the original site was good for, interactive discussion and views.
I think the new site, while prettied up and all, essentially stinks unless you want another site like classicstoday with a small amount of jazz and pop reissue reviews.
Follow Ups:
I haven't spent much time on either site although I do think the library function is good. I'm beginning to get a good amount of Hi-Rez discs and when shopping can pull up the site on my phone and make sure I don't already have the disc.

Exactly. A waste of internet space.
Classics Today doesn't allow any review comments (or any input from site users as far as I can tell). They report - you digest. That's it.
HRAudio.net on the other hand provides the ability to comment on reviews and thereby engender a discussion with the reviewer(s) and/or other users. Plus, you can always put your own review in the comments box. IT'S INTERACTIVE - not static like CT.
It's only interactive as Stephen dictates it. There is not true ability to opine and to bring in new thoughts and desires.
His action is the worst possible thing he could have done to the format.
Are you getting much interaction with others about your reviews?
I've gotten comments about aspects of my reviews, both where someone agrees and also where we differ. I like the interchange and appreciate the views of others. We can actually have a civil exchange about things musical - imagine that!
Yes, I imagine all you're talking about is some aspect of your review or the disc in question. There is, however, no discussion about what's coming up or things related to what people want or any lobbying on that site's forum about future releases. NONE.
There is no opportunity to have ongoing discourse, like you can have on a forum.
