If you like lovely, waifish, elvish young women walking lonely through forests in long flowing dresses, then this gal is for you.
Not anywhere near as Goth sounding as the name and title implies.
Call it a mix of folk, psyche, high-Anglican Church music.
The opening of the album is indistinguishable from a Jethro Tull album. I bought this and the new Mumford & Sons album at the same time, and this has seen a lot more play.
If you like Tull, Enya, or Monteverdi then you would probably like this.

Now that's 'three of a kind' that'll beat most any 'full house' I've ever heard! =:-0
LOL. I like all three. Boy would I like to see one of these DSD sites reissue Monteverdi's, "Thanksgiving for the End of the Plague." In fact they should just go to an Italian Renaissance festival and record everything. :) It amazes me how IR secular music sounds so modern pop.
Is the Weyes Blood album available on any of the streaming sites?

didn't see a listing for it on Amazon (not that that's the be-all and end-all)
RD,If you were thinking about giving this artist some air time, I think the song "Summer's Gone" is very nice and very radio friendly. There are five or so songs on this album that are radio worthy. Can't say that about most albums.
