That remains to be seen.
Personally I have zero interest in streaming.
I don't think it's going to be viable business wise in the long term.
And what's the fun in building a music collection if you don't collect anything?

But I'm mostly streaming, at 16/44.1 resolution.
And it sounds OK to me.
Yes, CDs do sound a 'bit' better but there is far larger difference in SQ recording to recording than between streaming a given recording and spinning the actual CD.
Vinyl is something altogether different.
Best not go there.
I don't entirely disagree with that, but, IMHO, the number of folks buying CD's and vinyl in 10 years will be just a tiny fraction of the total market.
Another vote for;
I have zero interest in streaming.
