That was not my intention. I will try to secure a copy of the disc you mentioned and give it a fair trial. Okay???

No apology necessary. I'm sure you didn't intend to offend.
I think it would be worth your trouble to get the SACD. If it turns out to not be, then please let us know.
Maybe Disbeliver wants to sell his disc. He didn't seem impressed, but then his views of everything other than his mediocre electronics are generally negative.
Peace,
Tom E
Madisonears: I have just bought Arcam P49 Class G 200 wpc stereo power amplifier driven from the pre-out of my Sony STR-DA5400ES AVR & XA5400ES SACD player best sound ever in my Listening room nothing mediocre with my set up. As for the disc I giving it as I do with all my discarded discs to the local Charity Shop.

Wow, Sony and Arcam. That's really impressive gear. I'm glad you enjoy it, but kind of a shame it makes superb recordings sound bad.
Wish I lived near your charity shop if this is what you give away.
Peace,
Tom E
I only listen to mainly Classical music, my reference is live unamplified sound, obviously you have never heard the Sony STR-DA5400ES AVR UK version with HATS ( HFN & RR -a fabulously versatile mch AV receiver) and the Sony XA5400ES SACD player or the Arcam Class G P49 amplifier which I much prefer to Devialet D-Premier.so how can my excellent combo make superb recordings sound bad, exactly the opposite is what I hear.
