A real bargain, even at the regular download price of 8.99 Euros. (They deducted VAT from my price.) Incidentally, the 48/24 file was the highest available. Will be anxious to give it a listen!

That's one way to tell whether the master is PCM or DSD. (Of course, if the sampling rate is only 48K, the telltale dusting of noise one usually sees in DSD-originated files may not show up at 24KHz and below.) I'm tempted to download the file myself based on madisonears' recommendation. (BTW, nothing wrong with 24/48 IMHO - some of the best recordings I know of were recorded at that resolution.) In any case, I'd like to have a second opinion, so please let us know what you think!
And there were signals all the way up to the 24kHz limit. I thought the same as you--looking for evidence of 'DSD noise'--but of course nothing was showing.
You've probably noticed that they offer a MCH download as well, but at a considerably higher price!
