Yeah, I read a couple of the reviews. You aren't hooking a redbook transport to it by chance?
And, - did you get the network bridge option? Do you happen to be streaming digital files from a NAS?
Thanks again for your reply.

I have hooked it up to a transport as well as my PC (via USB) and they both sound great. I am currently using the Auralik Aries to stream over Cat5 and this works very well indeed. I have the PSA Bridge but have not installed it in this. If you are going to get a Bridge I'd suggest waiting for the PSA Bridge 2, or getting the Sonore or Aries.

Great. Thanks for filling me in.
FWIW, - you and Sprezza are way ahead on all of this.
I appreciate your time. So you heard that the Bridge 2 will be an improvement? If you're already using the Aries, i guess that you wouldn't replace ot? I was going to get a Rendu, - when other problems with my source forced the delay.
Are you liking the PC or the Aries better, or are you using the two for different things? What transport are you using, and are you running SPDIF coax cable from the transport to the PSAudio?
Hope I'm not killing you with questions, - thank you again for your responses....

The Bridge 2 will support gapless audio, a biggie for me. The aries is on loan and I will decide whether or not to buy one dependent on how much I miss it.Transport was a OPPO 105 via COAX. PC via USB and Aries are close with a slight nod to the Aries. I would like to audition a Rendu.

FYI..when used with the Sonore Rendu, you can hook it up via i2s, which should yield superb results.
Yes, it wasn't until I hooked it up, via I2S (Nordost Silver Screen HDMI), to a Sonore Signature Rendu, that it came alive. The result was beyond my expectations, given my history with the DS. I tell the story in my review here:

Wow, ted, thanks for the link. Quite interesting.
As far as HDMI, there were those in the audiophile marketplace that dumped on it, my self, and the OP, sordidman, never believed USB was SOTA.
Very interesting review. I have very limited experience with I2s on a Stello Signature & Offramp. My understanding is that cable length is critical, - but haven't dug deeper.

Had an incident with my current source, and am now having to explore a bunch of options on a number of fronts that may force me to keep my Mac Mini for awhile. I was really hoping to have the Sonore by now.

Just an additional suggestion..the new Siamaidio 280D.
$2200, and additional $800 for MiND module.
I just bought the 380D with built in MiND. To my ears, it is close to SOTA.
yes....
Will be looking at the 380 too. The 380 looks really good, and would be very similar to what I'm looking for. With both the PS Audio and the APL, converting everything to DSD sounds very interesting too. SO, - I'd want to do a listening comparison.
