Thanks for the replies. I am therefore guessing this is normal for this unit and I there is no need to have it looked at for possible service.
Follow Ups:
So long as it is playing those discs, I would say there is no cause for alarm.
I just hate the added gap in between tracks when listening to sacds ,especially live recordings.
I wonder if this player has a hard-drive like buffer?
