I have just received a factory refurbished unit. When I play sacds I notice roughly a four second pause in between tracks. When I play cds they play as they should. Is this normal for this unit? I had a Zindak player years ago that did the same thing. Thanks!
Follow Ups:
Is there a set up menu? Perhaps gapless playback is unchecked?

No start up menu as far as I can see. Nothing about it in the manual. I really wish I could access some adjustments.
Have you consulted TEAC?
I have noticed this trait in Esoteric players.
My Esoteric player does not do that and it plays gapless cd/sacd perfectly.

Thanks for the replies. I am therefore guessing this is normal for this unit and I there is no need to have it looked at for possible service.
So long as it is playing those discs, I would say there is no cause for alarm.
I just hate the added gap in between tracks when listening to sacds ,especially live recordings.
I wonder if this player has a hard-drive like buffer?
I had the next model down in that Teac lineup and it did the same thing. Also, it would NOT play SACDs such as Dark Side of the Moon gaplessly.
