In Reply to: RE: DSD 5.6 MH in the Living Room System: Solved! posted by oldmkvi on October 24, 2014 at 13:38:44
DSD 5.6-MHz is great! I have it in my living room system, too. I just bought a TASCAM DA-3000, which accepts a USB flash drive for playing DSD files directly. It also records in DSD 5.6-MHz and I have recorded two LPs so far. There's just something about DSD that sounds rich like analog.
Have you seen the new Mytek Manhattan. It has the capability for DSD (11.2-MHz).
Best regards,
John Elison

Let's see- there's you, me, and a couple of Z1 Owners, who are too busy listening to post here…
I'm rather busy listening, too. DSD is really different and much better sounding than any other digital I've heard. I like it as well or better than my best sounding vinyl and I plan to begin copying vinyl records to DSD rather than PCM.
Best regards,

Wow, sounds awesome! I didn't know the Tascam would play Files w/USB Stick!
I'm looking forward to lots of listening the next few weeks to get used to my Korg.
No real long sessions yet, but I'm liking it lots so far!
