At $39.99? I'll keep to my '80s memories and just listen to those tunes in my head...
But maybe I'll get this just to have nightmarish flashbacks to the '80s.
What a treat ! Thanks for sharing ^_^.

Haha.
I love making such posts now and then to catch the unsuspecting snobs....
Seriously. This August's avalanche of Hong Kong Cantonese sacd release is killing me!!!!
But what the fark, I'm going to be happy eating bread for the whole month.
Was it Duke Ellington that said there is only 2 types of music...
Good one and bad one.
Your choice!!
Hahaha!
Of all people, Ellington should know a thing or two about racism.
Therefore it is a surprising how someone like him can choose to practice bigotry on music that were not of his taste.
The man is a disgrace if he did ever said those words.
It's as good as saying a family can only consist of a father, a mother and children.
If either parent don't exist, then they are not a family.
Single parent and gay couples don't count.
Children of these groupings are less than human.
If you are religious bigot, of course you'll agree with the duke.
Or are you just completely non-discerning?
"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" - Michael McClure
Ellington did not mention tastes or types of music, he referred to the quality of the music.
But at the end of the day to each his own, and if you like this pop stuff,
enjoy it!!!
Hong Kong Sony Music is really turning up the heat with the new Joanna Wang SACD and these 2 compilation SACDs.Currently, there are 9,556 SACD titles at sa-cd.net. For 2014, we are approaching 600 new SACD titles thus far. Therefore, 700 new SACD titles for 2014 may be possible.
Since the end of December 2012, Hong Kong music companies have released approximately 60 SACD titles. Support is coming from major labels as well as from smaller, independent labels (i.e. New Century Workshop). We are seeing 10 new SACD titles being released just this week by Capital Artists and Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Not talked about much is the SACD releases of Kitaro's "Best of Silk Road" and the soundtrack to the Oscar-nominated "The Grandmaster".
Rumored, but unconfirmed, another 50 new SACD titles will be unleashed upon the public within the next 2 months or so.
The SACD from A-mei on Forward Music....confirmed?
At this point, I think we can conclude that we now have 3 SACD pressing plant operating....Japan, Austria, and Germany. This is, at the minimum, the 4th year in which number of new SACD releases have been increasing.

I have been on the SACD-bus for a long time now. I do not forsee getting off anytime soon.
.
Since I was born in 1965, these songs pretty much nail my college years. Sadly, I don't like any of the songs listed enough to buy a compilation CD of them from a bargain bin, let alone an SACD. Maybe one or two in AAC from iTunes purely for nostalgia purposes.
But that's just me. It's cool to see that Sony is still doing this and maybe they'll do more!
Thanks for letting us know.

"If you are the owner of a new stereophonic system, this record will play with even more brilliant true-to-life fidelity. In short, you can purchase this record with no fear of its becoming obsolete in the future."

Where people had paid to see inside,
For entertainment they watch his body twist
Behind his eyes he says, 'I still exist.'"
The Toto Africa and The Men At Work. Mebbe even the Cyndi Lauper. The rest don't hold much interest. I'm glad to see some new SACD releases. Any word on if any of these are multichannel?
