In Reply to: RE: Bass-akwards, I know but, how to DSF-to-ISO (to make a SACD/DVD)? posted by JBen on July 22, 2014 at 23:10:57
to make DVD-A Discs.
You could upsample Files to 24/192.
I've Down-sampled a few DSD Live Recordings I've made to 24/192 to listen on my TV System,
works great.(DVD-A won't do DSD ).
You could see if you hear any diff between 44.1/16 and higher rates.

Tks, Oldmkvi! My reply to Ted, above, may help to put things in better perspective.
Some of the material that I would convert to DSD already is PCM 192/24. In this PCM manner, it sounds great on the audio PC. OTOH, most of the material is DSF/DSD. So, less music is harmed if DSD is chosen for all that is sent to the DVDs (for this particular event).
I really wish things could be easily set up for my audio PC to do the work for him. One day, I am sure...with voice command like in Star Trek..."Computer!". ["Yes, David." -- 'Damn it, HAL, I said Star Trek!']
Anyway, at least the SACD player is willing to help. He can use all my SACDs plus hi-rez (native or converted DSF) DVDs, and the player responds in one single SACD undisturbed mode.
... seriously, I use Burn as well to make DVD-As. Nice little app. Works well.
in my head, Burn Free,…. then I didn't know the words. Thanks for the Link!
