Even though this month I'm getting broke over too many SACD purchases, I am still yearning for the titles that hadn't been issued on this format.
Here's mine, what's yours?
Kenny Rogers - Greatest Hits
Aaron Neville - Warm your Heart
Sting - Ten Summoner's Tale
Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
However, there's probably more chance for them to get issued onto Blu-ray Audio Discs then onto SACDs.....
Any studio executives reading this?
Follow Ups:

I have one: Blue Jays, Justin Hayward and John Lodge.
My top dozen are...
1) Ambrosia - Ambrosia
2) Steely Dan - Katy Lied

only want to hear all Classical Music released on mch SACD, does,nt really matter with other genres e.g. Pop, Rock etc.

All great selections guys!
Of course, the standards......Led Zeppelin & The Beatles.
Plus my personal favorites:
REO Speedwagon -REO TWO + Riding The Storm Out
UFO - Force It
Alice Cooper - Killer + Love It To Death (I just bought Billion Dollar Babies)
Any Rory Gallagher (stay away from the 'Big Guns' SACD, it is horrible sounding)
Supertramp - Crime Of The Century
I could go on and on but I'm not going to hold my breath for any of these. I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray Audio of Crime Of The Century but cancelled after waiting for months and months and it still hasn't been released yet.
The sound quality of this record from Speakers Corner is incredible. I don't see how SACD could better it.
I was talked into trying the record; too bad I don't like the music.
Yes, I agree 100%. I picked up a clean Mo-Fi copy on vinyl for $12.00 a couple years ago and it sounds amazing! I have it saved as a 'ripped' 24/96 WAV file in my digital music library. Still, I'd like to have a SACD or Blu-Ray Audio version for ease of use and comparison. What I like about SACD is you get a nice, near analog sound, but without any of vinyls faults (pops, clicks, etc.)

As I recall, the Speakers Corner disc has no pops, etc. But it is more work to play one than an SACD.
What is it about the album that doesn't click with you?
I have a very soft spot for this record having listened to it many times under the influence when it first came out. Perhaps I read a cosmic statement into it that is not there and it's really talking about a more mundane human condition. No worries - it still takes me places.
Regards,
Geoff
Sometimes, I like music right away and other times, it takes me years or even decades (I am just now getting to listen to the Rush albums from the 70s). I will give this another try some time. I'm not saying it's bad, so I can't say what I did not like, and it's been a while since I listened to it, so I don't recall. It was not that I could say that it's not original, because it is.
Any old Scorpions, I'm talking 'Lonesome Crow', 'Virgin Killers', and 'Taken By Force'. Deep Purple's 'Made In Japan'....I have 'Machine Head' and it's perfect!
.
Star Trek - The Motion Picture
Fantasy film world of Bernard Herrmann
Pretty much anything by Williams, or Poledouris, or Goldsmith.
"The problem with quotes from the internet is that many of them just are just made up."
-Abraham Lincoln
x
which means it will probably be available sometime in the first third of the present millennium.
How about ......
Pink Floyd - The Wall (and the others)
Steve Hackett - Momentum/Bay of Kings/Voyage of the Acolyte/
Genesis Revisited
Anthony Phillips - (too many to list)
Brian Eno - (where do I start!.. the whole lot!)
Roger Waters - Amused to Death (It's been up for release for
over a year .. hope it gets released)
Radio K.A.O.S
........ just to name a few ( for starters)!
