Gotta be music from 40 years ago?
Was doing a lot of drugs back then, so don't really recall. ;-)
I was just a bit taken aback that no one commented about these two releases wherein notification of new Rock/POP releases is ubiquitous.
Beyond that, (personally), I don't have a copy of NMTB anymore>
Also, I want to get myself a copy of Yessongs as I don't really want to go back and replace all of those records of my youth, but just want YESSONGs as something to have as a representation, and to play every once in a while as such. It is my understanding that redbook versions, (HDCD versions, Japanese pressings etc) are greatly varied, and was hoping that people would comment on the quality of the SACD. Haven't even heard any comments on the whole Yes SACD box.
Cheers,

I do thing it was Allen Ginsberg who said: "If you remember the 60s, you weren't there."
Having arrived in San Francisco for the first time in 1970 I guess that applies to me, but doubly so.
Yes was one of my favorite groups back in the day, but I've not purchased much in the way of old favorites in rock music on Hi Rez as much of it was not that well recorded in the first place.
I'd be more that willing to get a Medical MJ card and be proven wrong. :-)
I like the Ramones' version of Happy Birthday, and The Dead Kenny G's
are my Idols, sort of…
I have a Devo "Are We Not Men" T shirt and cd.
That's about it for me!
I got to see them five times over the course of a few years, from '80-'84 at places like the Berkeley Square and the Mabuhay Gardens.
I took a lot of pictures back then and have more than a few of the DKs in action.

Awesome.....
I haven't seen Jello around in a long time....
We had the same booking agent for a while, and then when Klaus Fluoride got into a new band, the same.
IMO, the DVD-As of the Jesus & Mary Chain show that even hi-rez on distortion based music is fun.

I think you've hit on somthing there…
Jello gets quoted in the SF Chron from time to time, usually Politics.

when he ran for mayor?
Do remember when he ran, and I think I may have voted for him, but I don't recall.
Lots of drugs were being consumed in those years.
My wife and I have been together for about 15 years, so that was way before.
I did know of Jello, tho.
Did you say something about drugs?
I forget.
