Really fab review on Pitt Sym.
Will be getting Sony D 100 poratble DSD Recorder, part of their new DSD push.
Redesigned mics for 20-20,000 HZ.
Getting it from EBay Hong Kong.
Not available in US until March 1.
I tried the Korg DSD Recorder, but live recordings didn't have enough Level, and had thin, annoying sound, Zoom H4N was better.
I tried Sony D 50, was very good, but had Memory restrictions that didn't work for me.
The D 100 had 32GB built in memory.
The problem is that Levels can't be monitored because recorder is on mic stand, takes some getting used to.
Was considering Sound devices 702, $2000, and Royer Ribbon Stereo Mic, but VERY expensive.
Will report on SACD and Recorder later!

I still have my Sony PCM F-1 recorder and Sennheiser mics,,,,Great for recording live concerts...I don't know if a DSD recorder would add that much..
It also records in up to 24/192.
I need something small and simple.
Sony D100- I may get a Sound devices 2 Ch Mic Pre, to use a better Mic.
First thing will be record some LPs I'm on, in DSD.
I'll try the D100 as a Player too, in addition to DSD Discs.
