Marantz SA-11S3, now available on Music Direct. Strange that:
1. The US Marantz home page does not list it yet
2. It is not gold/champagne color that 11S2 was

In gold, looks just like the SA-11 S1 or 2 to the masses. You can sneak it in and set up without your significant other knowing a thing! I did just that going from the S1 to the S2.

me too but then I put the 11S1 on a stand next to my listening chair for a dedicated headphone system and she did a double take. By that time, my wife had stopped caring about what a/v eqpt. I was buying.
they don't have it in stock and I do not believe their 1-2weeks availability. Been down that road with them before but they usually do have new Marantz gear before anyone else. A fact that used to stick in the craw of one of my local salon owners. Thanks for the heads up however. Can't wait to audition it.
My SA-14 V2 has led a long and happy life in my system. I've always assumed it would eventually be replaced by another Maratz machine. My question: is the digital input the main (only?) difference between the SA-11S3 and the S2? The product page mentions that the S3 has the same transport as the SA-7, but of course the S2 had that as well. Did they simply add a digital input and rebadge? If so, buying an S2 at a closeout price might make sense if one has no need for a digital input.

...unless it is on the remote (too small to tell what is on the remote from the web pic). That is one of the features of my SA-11S2 that I like the most. As for me, I have no use for the USB input. I will happily stay with the SA-11S2.
The spec on the "specifications" tab mention that they do have it. But I am not sure. My Marantz is more tha 5 years old and I am looking for a SACD player with digital inputs.
