It is obvious to everyone but you that I've done some work together with some manufacturers to promote sacd in Asia.Sampler discs were indeed given free to customers who purchased sacd capable audio systems.
Each country from Asia did have to "buy" them from someone based in a single location who in turn had to source them from the labels directly. The labels will only ship to one location, where the discs were repackaged with suitable promotional inserts before they got shipped out separately in various quantities to the various countries. The same goes for invoices and payment. I basically did that sourcing, shipping arrangements, creating promotional materials, arranging for insertion, packaging and shipping out. For the last 2 samplers, I did the titles selection.

First I read you gave them away and then I read that you sold them. Since you only give part of the story each time you post and your story changes as you go why do you challenge my intelligence for calling you on it?
You're the one who brought it up. If you don't want to tell the whole story why did you post at all? Look at it from my side. Some guy posts that he gave away tens of thousands of SACDs and talks circles around why he did so. Then he says he sold them and even though he brought it up in the first place he refuses to identify himself or give a clear motive for doing so.
It sounds like a load of crap. Maybe it is not but the fact that you refuse to say who you are and why you did this means that I will remain skeptical.
Since you obviously don't want to give us the complete story this is a waste of time. good day

Long time inmates here will have understood the purpose and importance of making sacd samplers to promote the format, especially during the earlier years when software were few and far between. It's a labour of love for all of us involved in it. Thank you for wringing the little sniglet of information out of me.

You were serfs working for Sony/Philips, although you might have not realized it. More power to them that they managed to fool you into believing it was a "labor of love".
