I've seen a good review on Audiophile audition of BRUCKNER: Symphony No. 4 in E-KlangVerwaltung Orchestra/ Enoch zu Guttenberg – Farao.
I am thinking of ordering it unless somebody can recomend a good alternative.
I am not a Bruckner specialist but I like 4 and 7.
Thanks in advance
You may also find if you search hard enough in Germany.
Edition 100 release.
Sacd
surround only Symphony 4 Berlin Staatskapelle Otmar Suitnar.

There's also a new 2-SACD set on RCO Live with Jansons and the Concertgebouw of Bruckner's 3rd and 4th. Haven't heard them myself, but if these performances are like the other Jansons performances on RCO Live, they should be more than satisfactory. This set also received a pretty decent review in the latest 'Gramophone' magazine.

Just got hold of this-RCO Live with Jansons and the Concertgebouw of Bruckner's 3rd and 4th.
Highly recommended. This conductor and orchestra are in a golden period, and its being captured in DSD!
Actually, I thought I read that the RCO Live masters were now 24/88.2 PCM? In any case, SA-CD.net does not show the Bruckner SACD as a DSD master. I agree, the conductor and the orchestra are in a golden period.(BTW, my copy has just been shipped.)

Thanks for the recommendation. Just put in an order.
I have the Farao version on RBCD. The performance is very good. It is also one of the few good sound CDs I have.
I've been considering this one buy I have too many no 3 which I am not keen on.
There is a Gunter Wand recording of 4 on Japanese RCA. No.7 is also available in the same set, plus Pentatone has a 7th with Kreizberg. Recommendable? Most Gunter Wand performances are treated as beyond criticism and the Pentatone is pretty good. Personally I'd stay with other, non SACD, media and find Klemperer/Philharmonia/EMI for 4 and Karajan/Berlin/EMI for 7.

The recent Sony/Nagano 4th on SACD is very good (performance and sound) but you need to know that it is a recording of the original 1874 version before Bruckner went back and made some drastic changes. On RBCD, versions that I admire include Barenboim/Teldec and Solti/London (don't much care for the Haitink or Masur).
