I just saw one of the most intriguing shows I have ever seen on TV. It was entitled Musical Minds and was part of the Nova series on PBS. It dealt with the relationship between music and brain function. These shows are commonly rebroadcast and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in music and science
Thanks for the suggestion! This was very interesting viewing!
Through July 7 you can watch it on the Internet.

I think its based of Oliver Sacks material.
Excellent program, from what I can tell, and sure to be a treat for any audiophile.

It is a fascinating show. I found myself thinking "Wow!!" several times while watching it.
Thanks for brining this up, I passed on it too but have read a couple of posts praising it. DVR set up to snag it.
I also saw that program, just by chance turned the TV and there it was, very interesting, wish some of our bonehead politicians get a chance to view this program, perhaps they will think twice about eliminating music education from our schools.
