It was in storage for last couple of years. I broke it out about 3 months ago and hooked it into my system. Sounded pretty good, but I already have a couple of other players. So while it was still functioning flawlessly, I decided to sell it.

  I followed the little thread about the Sony DVP-9000ES player, I must
  assume that you are amazed or can not understand why anyone would get
  rid of that model.Do they not pay any real attention to the Asylum??
  I too thought all know that your upgrade of that and 2 other models
  compete or win overall compared to possibly anything at or under

    I understand that it is a desirable model to mod. But, I look at it as a six-seven year old piece of hardware that can have the laser/transport or any number of things go out at any time.
