Well built, understated good looks, solid value.
At least to my ears, Meier leans toward a "neutral" type of sonic presentation, it is not the "warm" or tubey sound that some people prefer. Meier crossfeed is subtle but it helps with some types of recordings. With some recordings, the crossfeed seems barely noticeable, at least to me.
Follow Ups:
I have the Corda Arietta but may need a bit more power. I agree with the comments about the crossfeed, to me most recordings sound better with crossfeed.
Know of any Meier dealers in the US?

Which headphones do you plan on using that might require more power than the Arietta will deliver? If you have any serious doubts about amp/headphone compatibility issues, it's probably best to contact Meier himself for advice.
I'm not aware of any Meier dealers in the USA. Buying direct from Meier is probably the best way to go.
Meier amps are pretty popular amongst headphiles and they show up fairly frequently in the Headfi "merry-go-round" classifieds. If you don't mind buying used, you can probably score an excellent deal on a Corda Classic over there...
I was possibly going to purchase the Mrspeakers Aplha Prime, which is a planar and I understand they might need more power.
I do like the Arietta
If I were you, I'd buy the headphones and try them out with your amp. Many headphone amps sound best when the volume control is open 2/3 of the way or more. There's nothing wrong with having the volume knob turned up to the limit so long as the music is plenty loud enough for you. That said, it wouldn't hurt contacting Meier to ask him for his advice on the subject.
