Well I live in an apartment, so it's not ideal. It is carpeted everywhere though.

Some people will likely comment on the difference between the left and right speaker's positioning, with regard to (WRT) a wall versus an open space. Fret not - it'll be ok... that's what balance and tone controls are for.
However, WRT your patio, you need another table so that the person on the far right doesn't have to continually get up to go get more chips/dip/etc.

I have a similar issue with my speaker positioning, with a side wall on one side and open space on the other. But our primary listening room is multi-use space that I want to share with my family, so the trade-off is totally worth it.

It sounds good on the couch when the speakers are positioned just right. Something wasn't right early on so I ran REW on it and found a 30dB null at 300 Hz in the listening position. I moved the speakers another foot away from the wall and it went away.
I'm no REW expert, but these are my results.
