Did you like the music? I thought it was insipid.Oscar likely.

I thought the music was serviceable but not memorable. But I really enjoyed the way that songs and dance were integrated into the story. The color was glorious. The long opening number was ingeniously crafted to look like a single take (the director says three shots were spliced together to look like one).
I'm looking forward to buying the BluRay and watching the movie with a better sound system than the one in my local theater.

More then the music...it was the message of what life is - that was the important part of the movie.
I thought that LLL had much of the quality of the soft drink commercial that preceeded the film.
it's a musical. the jazz i heard was VG. the musical part of the program beat the crap out of things like Mama Mia.
all in all, pleasant and i would see it again and recommend it to friends.
