I have to deal with some issues myself regarding my psyche, and I'll tell you a healthy mind is the first thing you need. I've been chugging along however pretty well, but I still see a psychiatrist.About a decade ago my psychiatrist recommended to stop reading news especially in the mornings (on the phone or newspaper), as I told him I would become enraged from reading the news and the resulting high blood pressure and stress on my mind and body was getting problematic for my mental and physical health.
I sometimes browse news at google's site but it is all really designed to make one either very angry or to condition the mind with riddles with no answer except the desired outcome.
I've been listening to about 2 albums in full from beginning to end every day after work, and on the weekends when I am not working a good 6 to 8 albums between saturday and sunday. I also don't own a television.
good for you :) happy to see you rid your system of that toxic nonsense.

It is funny, while we have one, my kids never watch it and it is rarely on. A big difference versus growing up in the 70's.
I think the 60s and 70s were big into subliminal messaging on television.
not saying it isn't going on here, I keep buying audio equipment for some reason after vising this site and reading the rants ;)
I crave pizza every day, for breakfast lunch and dinner. I crave pizza every day for breakfast lunch and dinner. I crave pizza every day for breakfast lunch and dinner. I crave...

must have been a glitch in the matrix, I had Bok Choy last night :)
Must have been hungry for pizza an hour later.

I also enjoy music most when committed to listening to full albums, rather than constructing playlists of cuts on my computer feed. It is so much more immersive an experience, and connects me back to my '70's start in audio.
