gave up TV News in the 90's. That was easy! Had to ween myself from the paper.
When I need to see what "news" is going on (and "news" has become a VERY loose term)
the Internet gives the basics needed. Otherwise it's a shit storm of worry, BAD NEWS and
TROUBLE meant to keep us off balance and discombobulated.
Not only do I not miss being addicted to the "news", leaving it behind makes for a better mindset
which translates to more satisfying listening.

Follow Ups:
..so much of what is called news on the internet is made up....even Zuckerberg is about to clamp down on all the lies.
but it's more easy and efficient to hone in on "real" news and cut through the fake news
IF you know where to go, and the Internet provides the path(s).
It's the difference between grabbing the Washington Post or USA Today off the news stand.
