Not necessarily mega-buck.
In 2002 I reviewed the Ayon Audio 300B Integrated Amplifier for TAS
Yes, it's single-ended, and yes it's triode. But unlike so many of its
exotic brothers, Ayon's (formerly Vaic) 300B doesn't cost a fortune.
It was wonderful and I do regret not buying it. At the time I was
distracted by the more expensive Art Audio Jota and Diavolo.
The Ayon could be had for $3,400: a beautiful, 68-pound music
machine decked out in a rosewood-looking base, chrome top and
front plates, and accents to complement the big-ass tranny covers.
Don't believe everything you think.

Wow! That's very cool. Completely accesible. Best in show for real.
again i ask, what show? k.
the gear certainly looks nice, but i was just wondering what show this gear has been presented at where it seems that every single component in the entire line has won " best of show ' year after year for 8 years in a row ! perhaps in Austria? just seems a little unusual that every component they make wins best of show every year? you might think the entire audiophile population would be trying to get one knowing that !
no big deal, probably just an advertising thing
I've heard his amps. They are excellent, and I was sorely tempted to spend more than I currently have to buy one, which, given how much stuff I already have, is unusual for me.
