A few blocks from their last place. Prices seem a buck or two higher, but you still get to flip through CDs and Records. To top it off they had the Bill Evans CD I've been after. It's playing now - very nice.

I've had that Bruford disc for decades. I wish the SQ was better or they would remaster it on hi-rez. I used to have all of his vinyl.
Bruford did remaster his catalog about ten years ago, but not in hi-res. Some of his recordings (If Summer Had Its Ghosts; the later acoustic Earthworks material) don't sound too bad, but some of them (the Moraz duos; the Holdsworth collaborations) have awful sq.
The central tragedy of Bruford's career is that he missed the boat on crowd funding. He had legions of devoted fans who I'm sure would have fronted the money for any project he wanted to pursue. But he insists that he's completely retired from public performance, so it's too late now.
Happy listening,
Jim

Excellent news!
Don't use the Bank parking lot during Bank hours.
Excellent news. Will check it out next time I'm in Silver Spring.
BTW, Bill Bruford is my favorite musician of all time.
Happy listening,

A few friends of mine and I met him at his gig at Blues Alley, this was after Earthworks. He was his own roadie loading his kit into a van. That is sad. I think he is great too.
