... has already been overstated in the extreme. How a clever marketeer from Minnesota, with a fake drawl and a phony twang, can or should "wake up" the Nobel committee, is beyond me.
"Yuuuu-uuuuu-uuhh...."

I feel the same way but feared the wrath.
I do not dislike Dylan but I think he is up there with THE GRATEFUL DEAD as receiving adulation beyond their intrinsic value.
The 60's singles are great radio music and NASHVILLE SKYLINE remains one of my favorite records but the rest of it just escapes me.
Like the people who pay absurd money for the cartoon art they hang in their public rooms as a talisman or a symbol of "who I am; what this says about me". I think many of Dylan's fans think by having these recordings placed strategically in their living rooms will impress their easily impressed friends.
Most of the time in my experience when a Dylan record has been played no one listens, it is background noise for conversation.
Not to say he has not been influential. I like many of the influenced much better than the original. Evolution?
How rude when you discover that...
He really isn't where it's at...
Yuuu-uuu-uuuhhh...
That's it.
He has Satan on his side.
You mean to tell me that he's still Allen Ginsberg's boyfriend?
Sicker than usual.
... just couldn't make it fit. This is the song about Dylan's relationship with Allen Ginsberg...

Geez, what a maroon.
Dylan seems to have thought so too.
Uh, OK, if you say so.
