and a 2 block walk. I have stayed there as it's the overflow hotel when the Marriott fills up. I'm stuck 2 miles down the freeway and have to rent a car because I will not be at the will of shuttle buses which may or may not come late in the evening.

It's right across the street. More expensive, though. I stayed there for one RMAF. It was fine.

In Denver area I'll rent a car. I don't drink so I can party all night and still drive back to the hotel
Just got back from the symphony, could have taken UBER for about $20 each way, could be more depending surge pricing, but as parking is only $15 and the Prius uses little gas getting from Ocean Beach to Davies Hall and back, I prefer to drive.
