Fine with me. Most people are using blutooth phones these days anyway. the jack is no longer necessary and it's removal means thinner, lighter phones.

Cell phones do not need to be thinner. They're already too thin, with that thinness sometimes making them difficult to hold during use.
This is likely being done for one reason -- to save a buck(?) on the build cost of the phones.
You can buy a rubber bumper for your iPhone which will make it THICKER!
One of my all time favorite phones. I still have it but the batteries are shot and will no longer hold a charge. Beam me up, Scotty!
