Other than this site, where is the best online buy/sell site to buy/sell audio gear?
I have bought and sold many pieces of gear on Audiogon, but not for a few years. It seems quite barren now.
I have always been uncomfortable with Ebay, even though I have bought over 2000 items, I have only made a few purchases in the past few years.
What are the sites you like the most and feel safest with your sales/purchases?

If I were selling entry level stuff, I would advertise on ebay. If I were selling hi end esoteric gear then I would go here. If here was too slow, then audiogon. But I agree with someone else that audiogon is populated by a higher number of douches.
I have had good luck buying and selling with Audio Circle
In Europe it is the audiomarkt where you can find everything and all the sellers have reviews so you can see what sort of people you are dealing with.

...CL can be a good bet.
For decent, popular, mostly older stuff priced at $200 and under I've had great luck with CL.

It's the easiest treasure hunt if you are quick to the car on those rare occasions when someone just wants to get rid of those huge ugly old Klip...something boxes uncle Andy had in the basement.
Gear will usually move quicker on Audiogon, but I avoid that site as much as I can. Too many scamsters, tire kickers and lowballers.
I sell 75% of my stuff here and on US Audiomart (mostly US Audiomart). I just have to be patient.
So if I HAD to sell something quickly, Audiogon would be the 'best' choice. If I have to sell something, but want to avoid the sleaze, US Audiomart (and here) would be the 'best' choice.
thank you :)

Agon is a cesspool of thievery and deception - traded there for years until the son kicked the dad (founder) out and destroyed the site. I would not post something free there!
I don't know if it's the 'best' but I've had good luck selling things at headfi.org

I like Audio Mart a lot

I have used hifishark a number of times to locate used equipment I was interested in buying. They claim to search 200 other sites including audiogon.
Audiogon is still the go to site... you still need to use some street smarts to smell bad transactions.
Ebay is good for vintage gear and tubes. Also good for connectors, cheap Chinese dacs and USB/SPDIF convertors and the like. I'm seeing more legitimate cable sellers here as well... but be very careful- it's riddled with unscrupulous sellers.
Audio Asylum- Good for finding a bargain, now and then. Small and homey feel here. Just bought some WBT connectors for a good price. Don't be afraid to make offers.
DIY Audio has a "store" that has some interesting components especially if you do some DIY projects. You can find a bargain here as well but be fast- lots of sophisticated buyers here who know a deal when they see one.
AudiogoN is my favorite site. I have never had any problem selling or buying with them !
