Most of Europe and the U.S. are hurting economically..... But Asia and westernized countries in the Middle East (UAE, Qatar, etc.) are doing well..... This is where the market for the exotica is strong.

I remember someone from the Middle East (forgot the specific country) wanting to buy a Larry Moore Ten Squared amplifier that I once owned..... The only problem was a local buyer submitted an earlier offer, and I went with it. (The person from the Middle East did offer to pay shipping.) Saved me the headache of packing and shipping a massive five grand amplifier.
I've done transactions of audio components with people in India, Pakistan, Israel, China, Japan, and UAE..... Never had a problem.
They are allowed to listen to loudspeakers, but only if they don't "image" well.
If the imaging is good, it is considered idolatry...
Easy to stereotype people you know nothing about.
I had guessed it would be pretty obvious that I was only joking but now I'm guessing that I was wrong to guess that way. So please, don't stereotype a person you know nothing about.
