Brian, there have been a few comments about your room at Axpona, mainly about Duke's Audio Kinesis line. It was a fine sounding room indeed. I would second that Duke's swarm sub setup is a very seamless setup and I'd bet would be that way with other brands of speaker as well as the Audio Kinesis line.I thought part of what made the room sound as good as it did was the Veritas dac. Granted it's a new product but finding many reviews is difficult yet. The review linked below would seem inaccurate too. I thought you had said that it was the first dac out that was using the Ess 9028 Pro but the review says it's a 9018. The solid aluminum case and overall construction sure looked solid and like I said, it sure sounded good.
I'm curious how it sounds to your ears compared to the many dacs that you have listened to.

Hi Lee,
Duke sent me an email letting me know of your post here.
Yes, the Resonessence Labs Veritas DAC is the first in the world with the ESS ES9028Pro SABRE DAC chip, so any review indicating otherwise is incorrect.
Indeed, we got excellent sound from the Veritas, fed by the Aurender N100H music server, and it was exciting to debut the Veritas at the show.
Herb Reichert of Stereophile posted some comments about our room in his show report blog .
