Hi and thanks for the tracks !
Regarding track two i much prefer Toto version ...
The problem is that the guitar must stand out more and ... weep ... cry.
Distorted ... emotional ... moving.
A possible cover for bands like Eagles, Guns and Roses ...
Or Santana but with the electric guitar.
And a man singing ... women do not play guitar. Usually.
Kind regards,
bg

Hi and thanks a lot for the link.
Very nice indeed.
My point is that if the guitar must weep, then let's it weep.
An acoustic guitar is not fit for the purpose.
Maybe with some effects ...
Thanks again.
Kind regards,

If you go to San Francisco's Fillmore District now, it is called Lower Pac Heights, a model of gentrification.
But I was born and raised in what was then known as the Western Addition. And we called it "The Moe," short for Fillmo'e.
I did NOT grow up on classical or country music. Rather, I was exposed to rock, R&B, soul, and disco.
In the late 70s, I would overhear Evelyn "Champagne" King's soulful disco hit, "Shame." I mean, who could not get absorbed in the "wrapped in your arms is where I want to be?"
It's a shame (no pun intended) that audiophiles don't have or play this infectious jam.
