When I get four emails in one morning with the 'do you still have this item' question.
That's what people say when they just want your email address.

Potential scammers are the price of doing business on the internet. I would not sell anything without the money upfront these days. Too risky. But then I'm willing to provide all my info including references.
And I wouldn't buy from you without getting the equipment - COD only.
COD is dead. Would never sell anything that way.
If one has concerns pay with a credit card. This is the safest way to conduct business on the internet.
For the nervous nellies with their credit card number just don't buy anything on the internet.
I meant to disparage his remark about not shipping without payment. It goes without saying, in my opinion. And yes that's good advice pay with Credit cards.
Oops my bad!!
Not that it matters. Thankfully, I seldom have anything to sell. And I'm sure you would not be interested as all my gear has cooties :-)

Last time I used COD the item was refused by the buyer. The buyer said the driver would not let him open the box before paying so he changed his mind. The item was a Levinson 31 transport in the original box as promised. How many scammers have a Levisohn 31 transport box laying around? That one cost me a lot of money and is the reason I will no longer do COD.
Yes you can almost see it coming. COD just gives them one more excuse to change their mind and then you eat a large shipping bill.
DIDN'T know it could be used in place of legal tender!

Food always tastes better with cat hair :-)
"Chloe, why does the coffee smell like cat pee/spray?"
It's a long story involving a very special cat that we loved dearly.
but they have no use for them.

Maybe 20 years ago I purchased fresh dried Catnip fo cat X-Mas gifts and sealed the bag in an old English tea tin (placed in a high up/closed kitchen cupboard).
The following morning we found the nip all over the place (chewed plastic bag and the pried open tin on the kitchen floor).
A male Orange cat was the culprit and the others merely accomplices.
I purchased another bag (it was still a week, or so til X-Mas) and taped it to the middle of the living groom ceiling.
This second attempt worked like a charm.
It was the only time/instance (over an 18 year period) in which a gathered a grain of respect from the Orange male cat.
That would make a great coffee mug.
Laughing...
Hopefully not a price on has to pay for selling to 'fellow' AA inmates (and inmate-ettes).
