Had to slog through the worst part of the DC beltway in rainy rush hour this morning.
Set the IPod in the car to random on the Jazz playlist and;
Stan Getz - I Remember you
Miles Davis - My Favorite Things
Herbie Hancock - Future Shock
Larry Coryell and the Eleventh House -Stiff Neck
Lionel Hampton-it's Gotta Be Me
Joshua Redman- Tears in Heaven
Paul Brown - Real Mutha for Ya
I only has to skip a Kenny G track (to lazy to delete it). I arrived at the meeting and don't want to leave the car. Hope your day starts this well. Enjoy
Follow Ups:
I can tune in a particular channel, say the bluegrass channel, and I
never know what I'll get. Usually it's pretty good. But if that channel
is playing, say, gospel grass, then I can switch to, say, the outlaw
country channel, and there you NEVER know what you'll get!
Any day which begins with Paramore's "That's What You Get" is going to be a great one! KJ (now my wife) just giggles at all the elementary school kids singing, "That's what you get, when you let your heart win."
And there's nothing like hundreds of fans screaming the "Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh."
Hope your day is off to a roaring start, and continues to kick butt!

The beltway is treacherous indeed!
That Joshua Redman tune is a killer: acoustic duet with Pat Metheny. The sound quality on the redbook cd is impeccable.
Happy listening,
Jim
