Question regarding the hard drive. I have a 3tb hard drive connected to the oppo the only problem is that the HD does files so any album I want to play goes in alphabetical order , ?is there any way that I can store the album the way it is.
Playing songs in random is certainly very good but I cannot play an album.
Hope you enjoy the oppo in that configuration

All my music is on a 3 & 4TB drives USB attached to my computer and a 4TB NAS for music. I use JRiver 21 to play through my music system directly. I can use my OPPO 105 to play directly to my system. I can also use JRiver to organize the song order the OPPO plays using a playlist.
JRiver sees my OPPO on the network. I use wired Ethernet not Wifi so I don't know what your results would be going that route to organize your music play.
I set my ripping to always store the Artist, Album, Track # and Song:
For example:
Adele 21 01 Rolling in the Deep.wav
-Rod
Same but flac, I think is mostly regarding of the HD formatting if I stream the contents from my computer using jriver or iTunes thealbums are played as they are, but the HD (toshiba) that is connected displays everything in alphabetical order .
Follow Rod's suggestion except that you want the Track # as the beginning of the string: 01 Adele 21 Rolling In The Deep.wav
-RW-
I do not know the answer. Did you ask Oppo tech support, they are very good? Are you using the Oppo/Apple App on your Ipad or cell phone?
Perhaps another Oppo user here has an answer for you.
nt
they will know
