Have you listened to it? "Holt's law of recordings" sure seems to apply to the tracks I sampled (1, 7 & 11). I'm apprehensive about the remaining tracks. Curious what others think about the performances.
If musicians are exposed to excessive hype and awareness of special procedures and technology involved in a recording session, should it be surprising it may have a negative effect on performance?
The ability to "perform" in spite of such distractions is the mark of professionalism...IMO. An audience can be very distracting but doesn't preclude a great performance.
A well recorded 16 bit redbook CD can be excellent
