I posted "The Human Factor" regarding PE and the multiple errors they made. Still no complete resolve as they have not refunded me for the first cancelled transaction and it is 13 days later. They said they would on the 17th. Really sad. I confirmed they have not with the credit card company and they are supposed to call me back and let me know what's what.I'd guess I'm nearing at least one hour total just in phone calls to try and fix the mess now. This is not just my time that is being wasted so you need to multiply it by 2. Their productivity and efficiency suffers too.

I bought a Triplett DMM from Parts Express. After a few years, I blew one of the 0.8 mA, 600 volt fuses, and needed a replacement. I checked all the usual places like Mouser, Digi Key, etc. but they didn't have the high voltage versions. FYI, don't substitute a standard 250 volt fuse, it's not safe.Triplett had the fuses, but only sold to dealers. Since Parts Express sold me the meter, they must be a dealer, right? I emailed, and got a reply from a guy who told me they couldn't get them. I pitched my "But you're a dealer" logic, but the answer was "No, sorry."
I used the meter with a 0.75 mA, 400 volt fuse I found, but since I have tube amps, the 400 volt rating bothered me. I emailed Parts Express again, maybe a year later, using the same "You're a dealer" logic. I got a reply from a woman (sorry I can't remember her name) who said to call her. I did, and she ordered four of the correct 600 volt fuses from Triplett for me.
Good luck with sorting it out.

I got a call today and they finally issued a Paypal credit. However they did it too late for my credit card billing cycle so I'll have to pay it this month and will get the credit next month.

Oh whaa whaa whaa - get a life. What a bunch of spoiled cry babies! Traded with PE for years and not one problem.
No crying, just the facts..........I probably order 100 times a year from various places like PE, Mouser, Sonicraft, PC and a lot on eBay. This is the first issue in as long as I can remember. I don't think I've actually ever had a problem anywhere before. I guess I've been lucky. This time there were so many errors I needed to warn others. I got a reply or two from someone that had a problem as well. I have no idea what your problem is, but you definitely have one or many. You continually show anti-social behavior here for some reason. Clearly a character flaw.

Your incessant childless posts are nauseating in their narcissistic ranting and all around BS. Get a life!
Childless? OK whatever. Typo I guess. A retailer failing and there are other posts on this regarding PE is news, especially here, sorry. The worst part was how many calls it took to fix it. Again my time and PE's time was equally wasted.
The post was only facts, deal with it. There was NOTHING narcissistic about it. I posted it to warn others! Now do you get it? Please get a dictionary before you throw words out that are above your pay grade.
I don't give a shit if you hate me but at least be honest. Maybe you don't know what the words you use mean. From the title of the post to the content, all true. By the way the title the human factor was because I had to deal with a human. Usually I place an order via computer and only warehouse personnel are involved. I say usually because once about 5 years ago I had to do what I did last week with a cancel. Worked OK then.
Oh, I am childless too: good guess! We have three dogs and two cats.

Perhaps they are under different mgmt., because for years I bought a ton of stuff from them. Always quick delivery, always excellent tech. advice & service. That was probably 5 or 6 yrs ago though. I have to say I read the OP and was surprised at what he's gone thru. That's too bad.
Everyone thinks I'm strange except my friends deep inside the earth
she said she'd call back within a few minutes and they didn't call back. Nice! I get to waste more of both of our time tomorrow!

Parts-Express in Dayton ,Ohio.
I gave up on them. They use to be dependable, but not any more.
I placed an order, found out the next day that it was back-ordered and they didn't have a date to fill the order.Checked Amazon and found a better price and bought it.
Even the technolgy questions are tough for them.Asked about a woofer for a small cabinet and they referred me to a driver requiring almost 8cu.ft to operate properly.Obviously not a "direct" replacement.
Maybe they are under new management, who knows.

What's "PE"? (I don't think you're referring to the tech rag "Popular Electronics"....)

I also remember "PE" being a brand of turntables..... Impro/Perpetuum-Ebner..... A company related to Dual, in my recollections.
