Yep. Dieter had been a collector of guitars and basses since he started playing. He started playing in the 1960s.
This is a real shame. Dieter was an extremely nice man, always very excited, animated, and passionate. Of course, sitting next to him while demonstrating how loud a Burmester car system gets inside a big Porsche or Mercedes was always something of an ear-moving experience.
R.I.P. Dieter... one of the most huggy German men I've ever met!
