Funny you should mention that *today*. This morning, my wife suggested that I get a cane, since I'll be doing a LOT of walking over the next couple of days and my hip is being ornery from - wait for it - walking too much.
Now, I just need to learn how to play guitar, which I suppose can't be too hard, since every high school kid can.

May not be that easy to learn. "Tenor" prolly means non-standard tuning. So, chord fingering would be different. Dropped tuning so that you would be able to play an open chord, with no fretting, would be nice. Then, you can use a slide.
If you're planning on going to a hifi show, you'll definitely need to have ah audiophile-approved cane. I'd like to have one just for looks, along with all the other instruments I don't know how to play :-)
