That's a Janis 1W. In the pic it just came out of the box so of course it had to be checked out.
It sits behind one speaker.
It's a classic design that works very well with Quads. I'm tempted to try one of the JL Audio Fathom subs.

I use a pair of these with my Martin Logan CLXs..There are three woofers in each sub and I could probably get away with having one sub but I would have to place it in the middle..
