Interesting list. Interesting for me because while I agree 100% with most of your selections, I strongly disagree with a couple.
Some items I agree just sounded bad where the Monster and Transparent wire, Benchmark DAC I, Spectral stuff, and the Mesa Baron (what a sonic disappointment that was).
But I own a WT Super TT and I have lots of experience with that Joule Preamp (hated the ganged dual volume controls) which I thought sounded pretty nice.
can i sell them back to you at half-price?

It simply made the music sound "congested".... The dynamics kind of "shouted" with this particular device.
...My old school headmaster was always coughing and shouting.
A horrible sound indeed.
