Okay, my construction probably doesn't qualify as furniture grade, but it's quite solid. It's also exactly the dimensions I 'needed'. Please forgive the out of focus photo by an aging guy who can't see as well as he once did.

Beautiful! work- Wazoo.
Hey Waz...
Hope all is well in your world...quick question...
What brand are your diffusers on the front wall?
Thanks
Mark
To be honest, I'm on the heels of a rough patch. Lots of things will change in the near future, but I'm not quite certain how. For the moment, the big rig may even change. As it does for all of us, life got 'interesting'.
They aren't fancy - Auralex Q-Fusors
I feel ya Waz...
I have been on the DL, myself...my big rig is being down sized along with many other things...
I hope things improve for both of us...
Have a great Easter...
take care
thanks
Mark
Looks nice to me.
Your décor ? Well, that's to each individuals taste.
( nice system )
It's fulfilling to do your own thing. I did a "similar" rack in the '80s, when the equipment list was a lot shorter. If you're about my age, you might relate: Phase Linear 1000, 2000, 4000, Thorens TD 125 MkII, Double Advent (large). Center of the rack held my electronics, table on top slightly recessed, 600 albums in flanking cabinets. All 5/4 stock. Sorry for the picture of a picture. About to send 500 images for digitization, so I knew where this one was.
Very nice cabinet work, but to a klutzy person like me (I trip over shadows!), that setup appears fraught with hazard, every time you get up to change the record!
Prior to finishing the room, I had everything mapped out - planar speaker placement by Cardas' formula. I ordered my speaker cables accordingly. I found happiness with my Maggies further from the front wall. Placing them ~9' out meant that I had to run the cables more directly than intended. I'm careful enough, but I'm still only in my mid-fifties.
Here's a shot of the removable panels behind the equipment, beneath which are three dedicated outlets.
Hey Wazoo, I missed this post, till I was showing some things to my other half. In the basement I did, I ran 2 dedicated 20A circuits. Also worked with a stereo geek, who duplicated Cardas flagship speaker cables for me (circa 1989). Still use them.
As an aside, I got into hi-fi in college. In 1972/73 our dorm room had Tympani 1s, and a pair of Infinity 200As. The Maggies were powered by a big SAE, and I'd built HK Citation 11/12 as my first foray into the higher end. Had a Dual 1210 table. We lived large.
I've owned Phase Linear (replaced by Carver equipment) and SAE too. I can check the Dual 1210 box too - it replaced a Perpetuum Ebner 2016 that met with an accident. I'm sure lots of us can look back and smile about gear like that. I've never had Tympanis, though.
I found the photo with the panels removed - last time I unplugged everything and made things tidier. If you look closely, you'll see one of the mistakes I made when cutting the vertical pieces. By the way, the rug covers a window (beneath the rug is 4" acoustic foam) forced on me by building code. I assembled the cabinet in place and it is screwed to the floor.
Another picture of a picture of the current system, taken when I had a listening room before my downsize. It was 16 x 26. Plenty of room for the Mirage M3si pair to breathe.
That is friggin gorgeous. LOVE that VAC and that sure looks like a sweet setup.
Does not look out of focus to me but I am an old guy so probably can't tell the resolution in any event.,
I have two racks side by side and not enough space to fit all my gear. I need to get off my duff and pay Steve or Timbernation to do me one up right.
It has a protection system which monitors the power tubes and will cut B+ if things go awry (and I know it works, thanks to a failed tube). Kevin and Brent reworked this amp and even tried to incorporate their new constant auto-bias circuitry under the hood - alas, that couldn't be done. Notice the array of LEDs just behind the center of the front panel.
