Roger ,I own the MP301MK3 from the same company and have enjoyed it everyday from the day I set it up 6 months ago. I run it every single day from 6 am until 9 or 10 pm for 6 months straight to break it in. both with music and for my TV sound :) I will be purchasing the MP-501 V3 W/KT120's in a few months, pairing it up to some MMG's I am sure I will be just as happy with it.

What do you mean by mid-fi? From the sound? From the price? What do you mean by budget? $400-600 total? $400-600 per component (BTW, average Joe would not consider this budget)?
