You don't have to give them a valid email or login, you can download manuals after registering but never have to bother confirming the account.
I haven't yet gotten around the 3-downloads per day limit but that should be doable, it has to be cookie or IP-address based somehow.

I found it a bit tedious for brands with a long list of models. I could not simply find the brand, then type in the model number at the top. I had to search through a long list of page numbers to find what I was looking for. Now I'm waiting for registration confirmation.

They've got an instruction manual for a dbx 224x mk II, but no service manual or schematics (dbx wanted $15 for just the schematic 10+ years ago, and now don't even have- boo!!). I'm just saying...

The first brand I tried to find (Harmon Kardon) they did not have. The 2nd one (denon) did not carry either. This site looks interesting, but are they brand name originals? I think that would be important..
Grabbed the Sony SCD 777es service book for myself.
cloudwalker, I downloaded the service manual for the Sony DVP-S7700 and it is from a original verified from publication info on last the page. Three is a daily limit of three downloads .
