If you are referring to the SONOS "CONNECT Amp", (aka ZP-120) you can connect that directly to a pair of passive speakers. It is rated at 55 wpc. We use this in the bedroom with an old but clean pair of Rogers LS3/5A's. Sounds quite good. If you want to connect to an existing stereo system, you'll need the SONOS "CONNECT" (aka ZP-90).
I'm listening to it now, sounds good, even better if you go through a good DAC.
Just make sure your WiFi or SonosNet network is robust.
Tight Lines
I'm thinking of it for my system (Jolida tube amp and Sonus Faber Liutos monitor speakers).
BTW..."tight lines" is a fishing thing. Might you be one who pursues the piscatorial folks?
Yes, I flyfish as well and drive the wife crazy with too many rods and reels...
