Follow Ups:
One local used LP store charges 4x more than any other for original pressings of any 1960 to early 70s rock albums. He wants 40-50 dollars for a Rubber Soul LP regardless of condition (playable) - Another local store may want 12-19 dollars

Last Friday ... a local record store had three copies of U2's The Joshua Tree ... two for $10 and one for $15.
Took all three out for visual exam. One of the $10 ones was better than the other ... the $15 one was no better than the best $10. Probably just different employee's who checked the records in.

instead of San Hose.
Realize it could be a birthplace, et cetera.
My listed profile is factual, as well as my claim to being rich, famous and extremely sexy.
... Another interesting tid bit I have learnt.
A lovely part of your country all along the coast there.
I particularly like the stretch 50 clicks either side of Monterey.
Tunes time for me with maybe even a dance or two.
Cheers mate.

Another town and area the wife and I enjoy a couple of hours or so south of Monterey is Cambria. It's our destination when we don't feel like driving all the way to Monterey. There are some very good restaurants, Various shops,a couple of small art galleries etc. Also a few small breweries.Very relaxing,a slower quieter atmosphere, than Carmel or Monterey plenty of wineries in the area between Cambria & Paso Robles. Also 30-40 minutes from Morro bay, which is also nice.Just thought I would share in case your in the vicinity Sox :^)
The Monterey Peninsula and those clicks away are truly
beautiful, and heading a bit south to Big Sur is also a delight.
In fact a slow, leisurely vehicle trip from Big Sur UP the
coast to (about) Fort Bragg may be one of the most
beautiful drives in this country, though I don't know
that for a fact. I'm sure some here do.
ENJOY your weekend Mr. Sox!

Nothing new here. You can peruse the archives about Tom Post.
Seems to be many new discoverers of the Hot Stamper dude. You're the 4-5 person starting a thread. This guy is getting great publicity lately.
Just buy your used records like the rest of us and let the 1% enjoy the extravagance. I would if I could afford it.
Yeah your right Moderator please kill this thread, lets not give this guy any free publicity. Kill IT
There was an article in Wired. It's all over the vinyl pages on Facebook as well.
