Yes, I know a picture would make an ID easier.
I found an audio rack in a local thrift store. It is a steel stand that seems to be a cross between a Target rack and a diy Flexy rack. I searched Yahoo images and could not find an example of it.
It is a modular device that can have any number of shelves. The one I got has four. The shelf frame is miter cut welded steel (3/4 inch box tube). Each corner of the frame has a plate welded to it that is threaded to receive a short spike shelf support within the frame and a tab outside of the frame for securing the vertical elements. The shelves are drop in boards like used on a Target rack. The shelf frames are stacked like a Flexy and separated by 8 inch steel tubes containing 8 inch sections of all thread. There are couplers and jam nuts securing the individual tube sections.
Any ideas? Thanks
John

There is a great invention called pitchers and you can send them through the Interweb quite easily... I still don't get how this thread developed, but seems you have your answer so all is right, I guess.

I got my answer in 64 minutes without a pitcher or a picture. It would have taken me longer to drag out my camera, take a picture and remember how to post the picture on the web. A clear verbal description can be as effective as a picture.

Yup, but I for one would have been so happy to see a pitcher, alas...

That is it. Thanks for the lead. That AK thread certainly went downhill pretty fast.
Thanks again
John
Sounds like Premier - good stuff!
